HAF
Our aim is to give children a positive sporting experience by giving them the opportunity to try a wide range of sports as we feel there is a greater chance that children will then find a sport they enjoy, thus contributing towards a healthier lifestyle.
PPA Cover
Just Do Sport have been delivering high quality national curriculum PE lessons for 18 years to thousands of children each day. Our aim is to ensure each child is engaged and challenged to the best of their ability through clear lesson objectives and progressions.
The children are assessed every 6/12 weeks when their topic changes, the children are assessed on ability, effort and behaviour. Our coaches are assessed every 6 weeks to ensure a high level of delivery. We create a secure google drive for each school so that teachers can access the children’s assessments and the coaches assessments.
We pride ourselves on our reliability as we are very much aware how hard it is to replace a member of staff when somebody is off, we also know how important it is to have the same coach each week for consistency for the children and staff.
Alternative Provision
For some students, accessing mainstream education can be a challenge. We work closely with schools to bridge the gap.
We offer alternative forms of nurture to support children who have experienced ACES to ensure they are capable of staying in mainstream education. Moving their skills in the right direction of travel, progressing towards the next phase, exploring activities that stimulate the mind and body, such as Lego building, obstacle courses, problem solving and more.
We create a tailor made document to develop each child, which is forwarded to schools upon completion.
HAF
Free Sports Camps and activities during the school holidays funded by the Department for Education.
We partner up with the Department for Education and the local council three times a year, within seven settings across two counties, delivering sports and fun holiday camps.
These schemes are for children qualifying for free school meals and each session includes a hot meal, snacks and puddings in a fun safe environment.
Sense/Disability Coaching
Our coaches are qualified to deliver to 1-1, small groups or large groups. Sessions are inclusive, welcoming and fun for children and adults with a multitude of disabilities or needs.
Our coaches can attend a venue of your choice to deliver set skill based activities which will engage and develop all participants across a set of sensory based sessions.
Emotional Awareness Support
Through our emotional support programmes we can build relationships with children to help them understand their emotions. They can learn techniques to manage their emotions to ensure they can react better to challenges they face within school, becoming more productive, spending a higher percentage of time in class working.
Our team all have an emotional awareness in children CPD. This allows them them to follow our unique programme to support children in recognising their emotions, triggers and coping mechanisms.
We report and log all progressions and activities, including pre- and post-observations from staff within class. As well as a log of notes and events by our team, strategies and activities that are different each week, following our ten step document.
Wellbeing & Nurture
Wellbeing is the phrase used to describe a balanced life, encompassing all things such as healthy relationships, exercise, sleep and things you love!
We work with students to break down these elements so they can understand themselves better and can respond to school demands in a more controlled manner.
Extra Curricular
BREAKFAST, LUNCH AND AFTER SCHOOL – during our extra curricular clubs we offer a range of sports and activities which aim to improve social skills, increase opportunity, build confidence and improve gross motor skills!
